Terra Cage: Fits All Terras
Kit: Assembly required.
NOTE: MUST HAVE true fiberglass Terra top (NOT a steel half cab). True fiberglass Terra tops will have the bulkhead a few inches behind the seats. Will also work on Scout II's with the fiberglass Terra top.
Includes our famous front plates that fit between the kick panel: Eliminates all tubing below the dash. Absolutely full use of your dash, and no leg banging on tubes.
The front plates install between the dash and kick panel. Additionally, the bottom of the front plates will bolt through your front body mounts. Main hoop (behind the seats) custom bent to mold to the Terra top. Two arms come forward from the main hoop and into the front plates. 2 crossbars are provided for the front portion (one over the dash, one up by the visors).
Visors must sometimes be relocated a few inches to make room for the crossbar.
CB bars are optional. CB bars are two overhead bars that install directly over the console (between the front seats, from the main hoop to the upper crossbar). They are commonly used to mount velcro grip handles. They also contribute to the squareness and rigidity of the cage.
We are the only known company manufacturing the front plates. You will not find a better design if you're looking for a solid, basic cage that is very much unobtrusive.
Our front plates are custom manufactured by waterjet and custom bends. They are 3/8 thick steel.
Install: Leave top on while fitting. Assemble and install front plates through the front body mounts (some welding of support brackets required). Then fit the arms and main hoop, and tack weld. Install crossbars last. Then remove top, and weld solid. Grade 8 bolts required for install (not included). Please use a professional welder.
Shipping is to any street address i the lower 48. Shipping cost $150.
